My name is Erno and I love metal. The sound caught me the very first time I heard it as a kid and has never let go since.
Metal made me become a drummer, a guitarist and later a music producer. I've spent years playing in bands, learning different instruments, and studying music theory and song arrangement.
A couple of years ago I needed a backing track for a metal cover. I found many creators, but all of them had at least one of the following flaws:
...so I made my own. I uploaded it to YouTube, and after a while I started getting requests for more. A lot more. So here we are!
I do my work by ear, because for most of the songs I choose there is no accurate MIDI available. In addition to the precision with every note (sometimes going as far as recreating the mistakes in the original recording), I also try to match the synth sounds as close to the original as possible.
